Weijie Yun co-founded Telegent in 2004 and has a proven track record of bringing products from conceptual stage to market. Prior to Telegent, Yun led marketing and product management at Berkana Wireless, Inc., which was acquired by Qualcomm. He also served as the founding president & Chief Executive Officer of AIP Networks and was a founder and director of SiTek, Inc., a spin-off resulting from his work developed at BEI Technologies' Microengineering Technology Center. Yun was awarded 2008 Northern California Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. Yun holds MS and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Mr. Jia is a founder, Chairman and founding CEO of Baynote, Inc., a leading recommendation software company since 2004. He is also a partner of GSR Ventures and an angel investor. Jack was the founding CTO at Interwoven Inc. (NASDAQ: IWOV, now Autonomy), a leading software company that pioneered CMS category, with a market capitalization of US$7 billion. Prior to Interwoven, he was a founder and CEO of V-max America. Jack also led engineering and development at NASA, SGI, Stratus, and Sun Microsystems. Jack received an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MSEE from NYU-Poly, and a BSEE/MSCE from Beijing Jiaotong University. He was recognized as one of the 40 most accomplished oversea Chinese entrepreneurs and scholars by the Chinese central government as PRC celebrating its 60 founding anniversary in 2009. Jack holds more than twenty technology patents. He is also a board member and former president of HYSTA.

With more virtual machines deployed globally than physical -- and with that gap only widening with time -- the implications across the entirety of the IT stack run deep. The Cloud Era is here, it is real, and VMware is helping companies around the world accelerate their journey forward. Paul Maritz joined VMware in July 2008, bringing more than 30 years of technology experience. Maritz started his working career in 1978 at Burroughs Corporation in London. In 1981, he joined Intel in Silicon Valley and spent five years working in the area of software development tools. Maritz then spent 14 years (1986-2000) at Microsoft where he served as a member of the five-person Executive Committee that managed the company, and oversaw the development and marketing of system software products (including Windows 95, Windows NT and Windows 2000), development tools (Visual Studio), database products (SQL Server) and Exchange product lines. After his service at Microsoft, he founded Pi Corporation, an early cloud-oriented company, which was then acquired by EMC in 2008. Born and raised in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and South Africa, Maritz holds degrees in mathematics and computer science from the Universities of Cape Town and the University of Natal. He serves on VMware’s board of directors and also serves as chairman of the board of the Grameen Foundation, which sponsors third-world development projects and provides microfinance support around the world. Maritz has an active interest in aviation, wildlife issues and using technology to improve life in developing countries.

Co-founder of PDI over 30 years ago, Richard pioneered the studio’s proprietary animation system, which received an Academy Technical Achievement Award in 1998. Chuang’s expertise is in computer animation and visual effects for both animated and live action films. His credits range from directing commercials to winning an Emmy Award for graphics design. He has 16 live action film credits as visual effects supervisor. Besides all the feature length animated film at PDI/DW, Richard also planned and guided the CG production for DreamWorks first all computer animated primetime TV show. He was the executive responsible for developing production capacity worldwide for DreamWorks Animation including multi-national productions in Hong Kong, India and Europe. Before leaving PDI, Richard serving as an executive at DWA developed a new process for scheduling and managing resources for all of production at DWA. Ken Xie, , Founder, President & CEO, FontiNet,
Ken Xie founded his first network security company, SIS, in 1993, designing software firewalls while studying at Stanford University. In 1996, he started NetScreen as president and CEO, leading the company to develop the industry’s first ASIC-based firewall. NetScreen (NASDAQ: NSCN) was later acquired by Juniper (NASDAQ: JNPR) for $4 billion. In 2000, Xie founded Fortinet and pioneered unified threat management (UTM). Fortinet completed its IPO (NASDAQ: FTNT) in 2009, which was lauded by Renaissance Capital as the “2009 IPO of the Year.” Xie earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, as well as an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Joining CITIC Securities in 2002, Mr. Tokuchi has since participated in many large-cap Chinese state-owned enterprise restructurings and IPOs, including IPOs of the 4 largest Chinese banks. Prior to CITIC Securities, he spent over 20 years at Daiwa Securities Group Inc., working for the firm’s international investment banking business. At Daiwa Securities, he held positions including General Manager, Investment Banking Division & Chief Beijing Representative Daiwa Securities SMBC Co., Ltd., President/Chief Executive Officer Daiwa Securities Singapore Limited, Director and Executive Vice President Daiwa Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd., and Vice President Daiwa Securities (America) Inc. Mr. Tokuchi received his M.A. from Stanford University, B.A. from Peking University, and has edited two books, one on Chinese company IPOs overseas and the other on Chinese domestic restructurings. In 2009, he received the China Friendship Award, China’s highest award for foreigners who made outstanding contributions to China's economic and social progress.

Tuoc Luong has served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Shanda Online since April 2011. Prior to joining Shanda, Mr. Luong served as the Global Senior Vice President of Yahoo from 2007 to end of 2010, where he led the Search Division and was responsible for Yahoo Search products worldwide. Before joining Yahoo, Mr. Luong held various management positions at Ask Jeeves Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Oracle Corporation and several other Hi-Tech companies. In addition, Mr. Luong was an entrepreneur having built engineering teams at multiple successful startup companies in Silicon Valley. Dr. Wu joined Tencent in 2010 and is leading the online search division in the company. Prior to joining Tencent, he was a staff research scientist in Google Inc. During his long time tenure in Google, Dr. Wu led and developed many Google products and technologies. In particular, he was the author of Google Chinese, Japanese and Korean search algorithms. He is also the author of the book "On top of tides".

Alex is a 12-year veteran on search, online advertising and large scale data mining systems. Prior to joining Shanda, Alex was Principal Program Manager of core search relevance at Bing, Microsoft Inc. Before Bing, he spent nearly 6 years at Google, where he designed and led engineering projects from core search, such as infrastructure, ranking, anti-spam, to online advertising such as Google's Ad Exchange. Alex graduated from Tsinghua University. He also holds M.E. from Chinese Academy of Sciences, M.S. on Computer Science from University of Maryland and an EMBA from Columbia Business School.

Ben Yu joined Sierra Ventures in 2000 from 3Com where he served as a Senior Systems Architect and Project Manager. Ben leads Sierra Ventures’ hardware practice and China strategies. Dr. Datong Chen received his BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University in Beijing, and then served as post-doctoral researcher in University of Illinois and Stanford University in USA. He also worked in National Semiconductor as a senior staff engineer. In 1995, Dr. Datong Chen co-founded Omnivision Technology in Silicon Valley. As VP of Technology, he led the development of the world's first single chip color CMOS image sensor, which started a revolution in solid state imaging industry. OmniVision was successfully listed in Nasdaq in 2000. In 2001, Dr. Datong Chen co-founded Spreadtrum Communications in China and Silicon Valley as CTO. He led the development of Asia's first GSM/GPRS (2G/2.5G) core processor IC in 2003, and the global first TD-SCDMA (3G) DSP chip in 2004 for mobile handset, which won the first prize of 2006 China national science and technology achievement awards. Spreadtrum was successfully listed in NASDAQ in June, 2007. Since 2005, Dr. Chen has been Venture Partner in Northern Light Venture Capital, and lead the investments of several high-tech start ups in China. In Jan., 2010, He co-founded the WestSummit Capital, which invest global high-tech start ups.
Jian Lu, Ph.D., , President , Shanda Multimedia Innovations,
Dr. Lu is a world-renowned expert in digital image and video coding, and multimedia content fingerprinting and identification. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from Dartmouth College, and did research at University of California, Davis, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He worked at Apple for over 8 years, first as a Senior Scientist in the Interactive Media Group and then a Principal Engineer in the Pro Video Engineering. He led technical development in QuickTime compression, streaming, and interactivity, and he also represented Apple in JPEG and MPEG international standards groups. He is co-founder of Vobile, Inc, and served as its Chief Technology Officer from 2005 to 2010. He is the inventor and architect of Vobile VideoDNA (TM) content identification and management technology that has been adopted by all major Hollywood movie studios and TV networks.

Prior to founding CoAdna, Jim was the General Manager at Philips in Charge of T-LCDs where he successfully built up a global team and completed a significant joint venture. The team has successfully developed leading-edge electro-optic technologies and commercialized the Rainbow Spectrum 3750 T-LCD that won the ‘Product of the Year’ Gold Award from SID in 2000. Prior to Philips, Jim has held senior management positions at dpiX/Xerox, AlliedSignal, KDI, and Crystaloid Electronics. Jim has been awarded more than 12 US patents with others pending. He also served as the Chairman of Electro-Optical Association in 1999-2000. Jim received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Liquid Crystal Institute at Kent State University and completed the Leadership and Management Program at the University of California in USA.

Michael Deng, is the CEO and founder of ArcSoft, Inc, headquartered in Fremont of California, USA. ArcSoft is an industry leading software developer of multimedia technologies and applications. Working closely with major OEM manufacturers, ArcSoft offers a full line of imaging and video solutions that enhance the features, performance, and user experience of mobile phones, digital cameras, personal computers, and consumer electronics devices. As of today, ArcSoft has over 800 employees working in US, Japan, Taiwan, Mainland China, Korea, and Europe. Michael were born in mainland China. Mr. Ying Wu has been with China Capital Group as Chairman since Oct 2008, bringing over 20 years of experiences in technology innovation and start-up enterprises. Formerly as co-founder of UTStarcom Inc., Ying had performed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of UTStarcom (China) Co. Ltd since Oct 1995, prior to which he was positioned the President of Starcom Inc that he co-founded in 1991. Currently Ying also serves on the Advisory Board of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of P.R. China. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Industrial University.

Lili is a partner at Deloitte with 22 years of experience in international tax planning advising MNCs on their investments between US and China. Lili has worked in the Deloitte offices in San Francisco, Tokyo, Beijing and San Jose. She is currently based in Hong Kong as the co-leader of Deloitte AP-ICE. She was voted by International Tax Review as one of the top US tax advisors and was awarded AWIB Leadership award by Asian Women In business. In March 2010, Lili received the Women of Influence Award from the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Carmen Chang specializes in corporate and securities law and is a leader of the firm's China practice. She formerly served as a member of the firm's Policy Committee. Carmen's practice focuses on the representation of public and private technology companies and financial institutions in public offerings, M&A, joint ventures, financings, and other types of transactions in the U.S. and abroad, particularly in Asia. Among many other transactions, Carmen represented SMIC in its acquisition of Motorola's manufacturing operation in Tientsin- the first M&A transaction in China after the PRC put its M&A rules in place. Carmen is a frequent writer and speaker. A native of Zhejiang, China, she is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese.

Eric was VP of Engineering of WebEx and also was one of the founding engineers of WebEx that was acquired by Cisco in 2007 for US $3.2 billion. Mr. Yuan is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program and holds 7 patents, plus a dozen pending patents in the pipeline.
