The HYSTA CEO Summit is the flagship HYSTA event, an annual gathering of successful CEOs from both the U.S. and China. Each year, lasting friendships and business connections are created, and significant deals are initiated or even struck on-site. One of the most talked-about collaborations across the pacific, the collaboration of Yahoo! and Alibaba, started with a stroll on the beach by Jerry Yang and Jack Ma, at the first CEO Summit.
The HYSTA CEO Summit was launched in 2005, along with HYSTA's Annual Conference. Every year, a select group of business leaders are invited to an exclusive and relaxing setting. They often exchange war stories, discuss global business trends and opportunities, and brainstorm on issues concerning both China and the U.S. businesses. The intimate atmosphere and beautiful surroundings at the Summit creates unparalleled openness and collegiality among the attendees, empowering those executives to share their thoughts and vision.
The Summit is hosted by HYSTA’s Executive Program (EP), the go-to Silicon Valley hub connecting Chinese business leaders across the Pacific-from Silicon Valley to Zhong Guan Cun, Shenzhen, and beyond. Typical EP members are serial entrepreneurs, senior executives of publicly-traded companies, and successful investors; their membership is by invitation only. Each year, the CEO Summit takes place after the HYSTA Annual Conference, the most well-known and well-attended business and technology event concerning China that takes place in the U.S.
CEO Summit 2013
The theme for the 2013 CEO Summit is “The Next Generation of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley”. Silicon Valley was born through the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of past entrepreneurs. Can the entrepreneurship tradition get carried on successfully into the next generation? How do current leaders ensure that? And how can we involve them to advance HYSTA development? At the CEO Summit, you will meet with other business leaders to share thoughts on technology development, entrepreneurship, and building successful startups into internationally-recognized companies. This year’s CEO Summit will be at a breathtakingly beautiful location close to the Silicon Valley. As usual, the Summit will take place on October 6 and 7, immediately after the Annual Conference on October 5.
CEO summit is an invitation-only event. Please email Deputy Chair of the CEO Summit Claire Jin at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any question.
