HYSTA Executive Program
Proudly Presents:
ROAD to PURPOSE:
FIRESIDE CHAT with
BILLIONAIRE INVESTOR & PHILANTHROPIST
MR. KENNETH E. BEHRING
Mr. Ken Behring went from Depression poverty in rural Wisconsin to a 3-time enlister of “Forbes 400 List of Richest Americans” in the 90s. A true self-made man and commonly referred in the press as a billionaire philanthropist, here are some of his career highlights:
· Started his own car-dealership at age 21 & became a millionaire at age 27.
· Founded Behring Construction Company, which eventually became the largest builder of single-family homes in Florida & the 10th largest in the US.
· Developed Blackhawk Community in California, one of the most exclusive residential communities in the U.S.
· Purchased NFL’s Seattle Seahawks for $79 million in 1988 and sold the team to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 1997, for $200 million.
· Founded multiple charitable foundations and donated over $300 million, including $100 million to the Smithsonian Institution.
Join Mr. Behring to share his journey of entrepreneurship, his travels on his road to purpose. More importantly, why he is the happiest when he gives. Learn how the gift of a simple donation not only transformed the life of its recipients, but also his -- and how it could transform yours in a time that calls for more social responsibility.
